§ 10.6. Same—Same—Duplicate receipt books to be furnished.

It shall be the duty of the director of finance to furnish each collecting officer or employee of the city, all of whom are required to report daily to him, with carbons and receipt books. Such books shall be carefully paged and numbered in duplicate, suitably arranged and designed for the various needed purposes. To each sheet or page thereof shall be attached a duplicate page bearing the same number so that carbon copies of all receipts may be preserved and the collecting officer enabled to retain on such duplicate pages complete records of all money received by him.
